The Woman in black - 2012
The opening title sequence for The Woman In Black - 2012 starts off with a few shots that last a few seconds, but as something bad/scary is about to happen, the cuts from shot to shot are faster and there are more of them, this created tension for the audiene and gives them more of a background on what is about to happen and why.
Insidious - 2010
In the opening title sequence to Insidious - 2010, the shots start off slow and there is not much of them, but after the title of the film comes onth to the screen, the shots get a little faster and there are more of them. All of the shots in this opening title sequene are in slow motion which I think is a good idea as it gives the viewer more time to see what is in the shot and it looks effective. It uses non-linear editing.
A Nightmare on elm street - 2010
The editing in A Nightmare On Elm Street - 2010's opening title sequence is quite fast as they have quite a few different shots but they do not change super fast. This is effective as they are still fast shots but you still get time to see what is in the shot. Some of their shots are in slow motion which is effective. Some of the shots are very quick which is effective as they are different than the others and makes the ots seem interesting as it's always good to mix up your shots and edit it differently throughout the sequence
