MAKING OF INFINITY STUDIOS
This is our distribution company logo - Infinity Studios.
We used a clip of planet earth with no sound effects and the sun in the background. To give it a cold feeling to the company, we used a blue/purple colour tint which made it more 'spine shivering' as such.
Originally we used a powerful orange '80s' style title, but it just overlooked the final product and did not fit at all. In the end we used a simple warm blue to fit with the background.
We used a very mellow sounding piano, very relaxing but also very tense - the piano follows the movement of the camera towards planet earth. This music is also quite generic and not associated with any particular genre of film, perfect for a Distribution company logo.
Aswell as blue making the atmosphere feel cold, it is also the same colour that presents innocence, which relates highly with our film as we've used chloe's sister - Ashleigh. She's very innocent as she's a child and you don't expect children to be evil or cursed.

Naming our company
To think of a name we typed in lots of different words into an internet thesaurus and looked for generic and 'space' feeling words. We thought of many names beforehand until we thought of Infinity Studios, here are few:
We didn't want it to sound too horrific as it's only just a distributor, it shouldn't relate to the genre of the film we are making an opening title sequence for in any way.
- Cosmos Pictures
- Open Door Distributions
- Shining Images
- Entity Pictures
