shooting Schedule
Wednesday 13th November
On this day. we will film the names of children in chalk in the courtyard at school. We will also take a close-up shot of the broken piece of chalk. We shall also take some shots of Chloe's sister in the drama studio.
Thursday 14th November
Today we will look at the shots we have so far and see what has worked well and what needs to be improved. We will also plan what other shots we will need.
Saturday 16th november
We started developing our filming even further - we filmed Chloe's sister (Ashleigh) in a park in Churchdown, and filmed her on a swing and parts of her in a garden skipping in the background. This roughly took an hour to film as we developed our ideas even further when we were in the process and came up with lots of new ideas. Later that day, we went back to Chloe's house to start making blood and produce the tea party. It took roughly 2 hours to film as we used all different props and decided which blood we wanted to make.
thursday 21st november
On this day, we will re-film the chalk scene as we came up with a better idea of using the cast names instead of random 'horror' sounding children names. We will be using the chalk on the courtyard as we used this location last time and the concrete will be easy to write on.
Thursday 27th November
Today, we took some more "artistic" shots such as close ups of the doll, ribbon and tea pot. These were filmed in the courtyard at school, the same as the chalked names were filmed.
thURSDAY 5TH NOVEMBER
On our final day of filming, me and Sydney had decided to take just a few more shots of the 'scary' victorian era doll looking round from a corner. The tension is built up by using lots of different lengths of the shots - getting closer and closer towards the dolls face.
Friday 7th feBRUARY
Although we finished our main shots, we all decided to film one last time to film each other whisper Amalie over and over again until it got faster. We will use this in the build up to the end of the opening title sequence.
