Risk Assessment
If we choose to use an props which may cause harm to us or others around us if not used appropriately, we must be extra careful and take precaution when handling them as we do not want to injure anyone in the making of our opening title sequence. For example, if a sharp object such as a knife is used, the person wielding it must be coordinated and everyone involved in the scene must be aware of what is going to happen so that injuries are avoided.
People around the area must also be informed, as it could cause the general public distress if they think they see someone being killed, when it is in fact just some teenagers filming a sequence for media. The police will most likely be informed and this will cause more problems than what are necessary. We will be filming in a park in Churchdown, so we will need to inform the local authorities before we film. We will not be using any weapons, but we may be using fake blood.

When filming in an old building such as a house or church, precaution must be taken as they are often unsafe due to sharp objects such as broken glass or nails which stick out. It is also important to ensure the place we will be filming in is easy to escape if something bad does happen such as someone being injured, as this could increase the severity of any accidents.
When using equipment, we must make sure we do our best to not damage it in any way. This may involve checking that the camera is securely attached to the tri-pod, making sure you don't knock or drop anything and being careful when walking or running with the camera when doing a POV shot. We must also make sure to keep any electrical equipment away from water or fire if we choose to use it in our opening title sequence.
